What determines how intelligent you are?
Some answers I received other years.
Born with it
You either have it or you don’t.
Some people are smart, others are not
But could you change you intelligence? Yes/No?
Our brains are like muscles?
You grow your arm muscle by exercising, You make the muscle strain and work, you rest the muscle, it rebuilds and it comes back stronger.
Your brain muscle is the same, it grows by doing things that are hard.
A babies brain, a baby struggles to walk, talk, eat etc and by the age of 6, look at how many connections are in the brain. At no other stage in human life does our brain grow so much, this is because it is working hard and doing difficult things.
Our brain is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. The way to grow it is NOT to do easy things but to do things you struggle with.
Your brain grows more not when you get a question right but when you a question wrong and you find a strategy to correct it.
When do our brains grow the most?
It’s not just getting answers wrong, it’s figuring out strategies to correct your mistake.
