What are these items that you see around the country?
In every house you will find water tanks in the attic. All water in your house (except cold kitchen water tap) comes from these tanks. When you take a shower, wash hands in the bathroom or water in radiators all this water comes from the tanks in the attic.
These water towers once higher than your house will force water into your attic tank.

There are water pumps everywhere in our lives. Any machine that is powered by fuel or uses water needs pumps. Cars, dish washers, washing machines, hydraulic machines have numerous pumps that is vital to them working.
Today we will construct what is called a centrifugal pump.
Our impellar (cut off syringe) will drive the water outwards through a pipe. This impellar will also make a small vacuum in order to suck the water in.
A vacuum cleaner works off the same principals as the pump you will make today.
